What Are You Looking For In Life?

You always wanted to go away. So many reasons. So many excuses. So many lies. You never answer the real question, what are you looking for in life?

My guess is it must not be family because you clearly left us. 

Is it money? Really? How much do you seek? Is having the roof above your head and a car to drive anywhere is not enough? Then, how much?

Or maybe you’re looking for yourself? Because you never met her. Because you wasted your golden year taking care of two burdens. If that’s what you’re looking for, I won’t tell you no. I just want you to admit it. I just want you to be honest, for once in your life.

I could be cursed for all my feelings towards you. All the children love their mom. But why all I feel is anger and disappoint. You always lie. Lie like I’m a child. Lie like I wouldn’t found out. Lie like I’m blind. If you just wanted to leave us and focus on yourself, just say so. Don’t make up another story of your imagination and expect us to believe. 

You can’t prove anything. How am I supposed to buy that? 

Maybe you forgot that I’m no longer 10. Even when I was 10, I am not 10. 

All of your drama you drag me into, from I was little, until I have my own small family to take care of. Funny how you think your children is the reason you work so hard, meanwhile you work as hard to leave us?

I never get your ways of live. 

Now I still don’t get your ways to leave. 

Anyway, we’ll manage.
